‍ ‍Effective, Empathetic Therapy in New York

The support you need to feel like yourself again

We all struggle at some point.

You may need support and guidance to help you cope with emotional distress, see your situation more clearly, consider all possibilities, form deeper relationships, or simply feel more fulfilled in your life.

I’m an experienced, approachable therapist from New York City. I offer individual therapy for adults who reside in New York and New Jersey. I graduated with distinction from New York University with a master's degree in Social Work and completed postgraduate training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at the Family and Group Institute under the guidance of Dr. Evan Imber-Black, a core faculty member at the Ackerman Institute, New York. I have extensive experience in mental health care, including Bellevue Hospital’s psychiatric emergency room, inpatient services, and homeless shelter. I’ve been in private practice for over twenty years.

What I can help you with

Sometimes, things just feel off, and you can’t put your finger on it. It’s possible that being able to freely talk about that experience can be helpful. What I can help you with is putting words to things that are hard to say or feelings to memories that keep surfacing. But more than that, I have tools, strategies, and a process to help you find relief from harsh self-talk or the constant fear of making a mistake. I see myself not just as a therapist, but also a human being who understands that mental health is dependent on a number of factors, including supportive, non-judgmental dialogue.
